Home vs Personal Appearance

MY COMMENT: "Women like me know, because we are realistic, that we are no longer likely to garner compliments for the way we look. But, feeling the need for what psychologists might call ‘positive reinforcement’ now and again, for some reassurance that we can still cut it when it comes to style and aesthetics, our home becomes a cherished totem." This was interesting.
